BRAND STORY

The current site of Red Dot Hotel was formerly home to the Galaxy Hotel, completed in 1979, a witness to Taiwan’s thriving and prosperous era of the 1970s and 1980s.

2014–2023

In 2014, Red Dot Hotel was born in this neighborhood filled with memories and a strong sense of place. With a touch of humor, we reinterpreted local culture and creativity, bringing a playful imagination to the space while preserving the beauty of an earlier era.

Traces of time were woven into contemporary design, creating a place where every guest could feel the warmth and familiarity of coming home.

2024–

To us, “travelers in motion” and “spaces at rest” are the beginning of a story that continues to unfold.

After a decade—an entire chapter in our journey—we decided to refocus on the essence of the Red Dot brand. With a fresh perspective and new concepts, we reimagined the hotel, challenging previous perceptions of the space and stepping into view with a more distinctive character, ready to become part of every guest’s journey.

PHILOSOPHY & SPACE — “A TOY STORE FOR GROWN-UPS”

A complete hotel experience has never been simply about having a place to sleep.

We are dedicated to creating a stay that brings together distinctive style, sensory experiences, and art. In collaboration with internationally renowned artist Page Tsou and Taichung-based interior design studio Day Day Design, we brought together 2D visual art and 3D spatial design in a cross-disciplinary collaboration.

The result is a hotel that feels comforting yet playful, distinctive yet rich in thoughtful details.
